2023 Elementary School Summer Camps

Our Summer 2023 Camp Schedule is set! Registration will open at NOON on February 24, 2023.

  Coding Camp

OSU Campus * Entering Grades 4-5 * June 26-30 * 9AM-NOON * $160 * Needs-based scholarships available

Learn to master the basics of coding with programs such as Swift, Kodable, Hoptscotch, and Cargo-Bot. Using iPads, you will write real code and see them run in games, puzzles, animations, stories, or beautiful 3D interactive “playgrounds”. This camp is perfect for a beginner or hesitant coder, but also will provide challenges for those with more experience. Participants will leave camp with ideas of how to continue working on coding skills at home.

  WeDo 1.0 Camp

OSU Campus * Entering Grades 3-5 * June 26-30 * 1-4PM * $160 * Needs-based scholarships available

Learn to use laptops, Legos, and the WeDo 1.0 Robotics software to create your own Lego robots! This class will teach students to use a combination of engineering and creativity to build working, moving machines. The class is set up in blocks, with a "creativity & activity break" in the middle, when students will get outside or do other hands-on activities. No robotics experience necessary!

    WeDo 2.0 Camp

OSU Campus * Entering Grades 3-5 * July 17-21 * 9AM-NOON * $160 * Needs-based scholarships available

Use the WeDo 2.0 Robotics platform & iPads to learn Science and Engineering while programming Lego robots! This class will engage students in lessons about engineering, life science, physical science, and earth/space science through building working, moving machines. The class is set up in blocks, with a "creativity & activity break" in the middle, when students will get outside or do other hands-on activities. WeDo 1.0 Camp is NOT a prerequisite. No robotics experience necessary!

  WeDo 1.0 Camp

  Introduction to Engineering Camp

OSU Campus * Entering Grades 4-5 * July 24-28 * 9AM-NOON OR 1-4PM * $160 * Needs-based scholarships available

In this camp students will have the opportunity to explore 3 engineering disciplines: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and structural engineering. Materials used in the camp include Lego Simple and Powered Machines, Snap Circuits, and K'NEX. The class is set up in blocks, with a "creativity & activity break" in the middle, when students will get outside or do other hands-on activities. No experience necessary!
