WeDo 1.0 Lego Robotics Camp * Entering Grades 3-5 * July 20-24 * 9AM-NOON * $160 * Learn to use laptops, Legos, and the WeDo 1.0 Robotics software to create your own Lego robots! This class will teach students to use a combination of engineering and creativity to build working, moving machines. The class is set up in blocks, with a "creativity & activity break" in the middle, when students will get outside or do other hands-on activities. No robotics experience necessary! Note: This camp is the same as the Introduction to Lego Robotics Level 1 that has been offered in previous years. NEEDS-BASED SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR THIS CAMP!

Lego Simple & Powered Machines Camp * Entering Grades 4-5 * July 20-24 * 1-4PM * $160 * Students will get an in-depth understanding of mechanical and structural principles built into everyday machines. By building, designing, and testing solutions, students work as young scientists and engineers, all while honing design technology, science, and math skills. The class is set up in blocks, with a "creativity & activity break" in the middle, when students will get outside or do other hands-on activities.  No experience necessary!

WeDo 2.0 Lego Robotics Camp * Entering Grades 3-5 * July 27-31 * 9AM-NOON * $160 * Use the WeDo 2.0 Robotics platform & iPads to learn Science and Engineering while programming Lego robots! This class will engage students in lessons about engineering, life science, physical science, and earth/space science through building working, moving machines. The class is set up in blocks, with a "creativity & activity break" in the middle, when students will get outside or do other hands-on activities. WeDo 1.0 Camp is NOT a prerequisite. No robotics experience necessary! NEEDS-BASED SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR THIS CAMP!

Elementary Science Camp * Entering Grades 4-5 * August 3-7 * 9AM-NOON * $160 * In this camp students will have the opportunity to explore multiple science disciplines: Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry, Astronomy, and Meteorology. Each day students will focus on a different topic and conduct hands-on kitchen science experiments that are fun and can be replicated at home. The class is set up to include a snack and activity break outside. No experience necessary!

Coding Camp * Entering Grades 4-5 * August 3-7 * 1-4PM * $160 * Learn to master the basics of coding with programs such as Swift, Kodable, Hoptscotch, and Cargo-Bot. Using iPads, you will write real code and see them run in games, puzzles, animations, stories, or beautiful 3D interactive “playgrounds”. This camp is perfect for a beginner or hesitant coder, but also will provide challenges for those with more experience. Participants will work in pairs, in an environment of cooperation, and will leave with ideas of how to continue working on coding skills at home. NEEDS-BASED SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR THIS CAMP!
