Below is a tentative draft for our 2025 camps. We will be making changes until the end of January. We will note it here when the schedule it 100% set. Registration will open on February 17 at NOON.
Introduction to Engineering Camp
OSU Campus * Entering Grades 4-5 * July 21-25 * 9AM-NOON or 1-4PM * $170 * Needs-based scholarships available
In this camp students will have the opportunity to work in pairs while exploring 3 engineering disciplines: mechanical engineering, computer science, and structural engineering. Materials used in the camp include Lego Simple and Powered Machines, Coding Apps, and K'NEX. The class is set up in blocks, with a "activity break" in the middle, when students will get outside. No experience necessary!

WeDo 1.0 Camp
OSU Campus * Entering Grades 3-5 * June 23-27 * 9AM-NOON or 1-4PM * $170 * Needs-based scholarships available
Learn to use laptops, Legos, and the WeDo 1.0 Robotics software to create your own Lego robots! Working in pairs, this class will teach students to use a combination of engineering and creativity to build working, moving machines. The class is set up in blocks, with an "activity break" in the middle, when students will get outside. No robotics experience necessary! Note: WeDo 1.0 Camp is NOT a prerequisite for WeDo 2.0. The difference in the two camps is the look of the robots and the use of iPads for WeDo 2.0 vs. laptops for WeDo 1.0.
WeDo 2.0 Camp

Use the WeDo 2.0 Robotics platform & iPads to build and program a Lego robot! Working in pairs, this class will allow students to hone their science and engineering skills and explore how creative they can get in their programming. The class is set up in blocks, with an "activity break" in the middle, when students will get outside. No robotics experience necessary! Note: WeDo 1.0 Camp is NOT a prerequisite. The difference in the two camps is the look of the robots and the use of iPads for WeDo 2.0 vs. laptops for WeDo 1.0.
